fix(observability): every exported resource names its service instance - #23973
Conversation
Without service.instance.id, a restart or a second process of the same service is indistinguishable in a backend, and the resources one process exports cannot be joined. Signed-off-by: Yordis Prieto <yordisstudio@Yordiss-Mac-Studio.local>

This changes the server's exported telemetry resource, but the focused tests cover only the ID helper, desktop, and mobile; none checks the server resource. Could you add a focused test for otlpResource that verifies the generated instance ID and the operator-provided override? That will protect the server's resource-attribute wiring. The fix requires a test-file change, so there is no single-hunk suggestion here.

Shared ID resolution and relay resource packages/shared/src/observability.ts, packages/shared/src/observability.test.ts, packages/shared/src/relayTracing.ts |
The shared resolver returns a configured service instance ID or generates and reuses a UUID. Relay tracing resources accept and export the ID. |
Desktop and server resource wiring apps/desktop/src/app/DesktopObservability.ts, apps/server/src/config.ts, apps/server/src/cloud/relayTracing.ts, apps/server/src/serverLogger.test.ts, docs/operations/observability.md |
Desktop and server resources use the resolver. Server relay layers pass the ID to relay tracing. The test checks the exported log attribute, and the documentation describes runtime ID values and overrides. |
Mobile and web tracing resources apps/mobile/src/features/observability/tracing.ts, apps/mobile/src/features/observability/tracing.test.ts, apps/web/src/observability/clientTracer.ts, apps/web/src/observability/clientTracing.ts, apps/web/src/lib/runtime.ts |
Mobile tracing uses the Expo session ID. Web tracing uses a page-load UUID for client and relay resources. The mobile test checks the exported trace attribute. |

Explanation
The description covers the problem, the change, and verification, so it is mostly complete. It does not link a triaged issue or maintainer-approved discussion in the Scope and approval section, which the template requires. The author also left the Problem section as a single sentence that does not state reproduction steps or environment, though the template asks for them where relevant. Those gaps are non-critical for this check. The verification section is concrete: it names the tests, gives a runtime output sample, and reports a known lint failure on main.

the `OTEL_RESOURCE_ATTRIBUTES` override to server and desktop process resources;
do not imply that UI resources support it, since the UI always uses

ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This is a focused observability fix that adds service-instance identifiers to existing exported resources across the supported clients and server paths. It also introduces a line-scoped static-analysis suppression, and the server resource wiring lacks a focused direct test for both generated and operator-provided IDs. The desktop test only checks that the key exists. If
